I’ve since moved it out of the bathroom…and multiple times around the house trying to find its perfect spot. I think we’ve done it! Much to Bob’s delight because, really, he’s been doing the moving while I stand back to analyze the decor situation.

Originally I thought it would make a great rustic addition to the bathroom while providing a place to hang towels, but it wasn’t quite right. Or easy to hang/remove towels…it didn’t flow well, ya know?The purpose of this rustic blanket ladder is to hold blankets. So blankets it is!

We’ve been trying to use things from the house for these little projects. It’s like every time I we’re working on something I say to Bob “don’t get rid of that!” And then I get the look…but I think he’s starting to come around at some of my ideas. Did you guys see that rustic mirror frame from old fishing crate wood? I’m starting to accumulate old cupboard doors, light fixture covers and old chippy windows…which he has tried to dump multiple times.

I don’t need to tell you guys how cool those are, right? I have too many ideas and too little time! This “making” is getting addicting though!

I really love giving you guys these little tid bits of our remodel. We have so much to share with you and believe me, I want to get it to your in-boxes! It sorta feels like I’m finally on a roll and posting will come easier now that we’re somewhat organized.

Speaking of getting organized! Stuff’s are really happening around the resort! Some new things, upgrades and fun surprises in store for our new and returning guests. I hope you can make it up this year!

In the meantime…I’ll be taking photos and typing away as much as I can…and Bob may be moving that blanket ladder a few more times until I know it’s just right 😉
