Fresh tends to be best for morel mushroom recipes but if you find yourself somewhat frustrated at the less than stellar conditions for perfect-little-goldliocks morel mushroom hunting areas, here’s a solution for that!
*For a quick conversion use 1 ounce dried in place of 1/2 pound fresh. Remember to soak in hot water for about 30 minutes to re-hydrate.
